Anastasios I. Stamou
Professor and Director of the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Greece

Professor in “Computational Methods in Environmental Fluid Mechanics and the Design of Environmental Hydraulic Works” at the NTUA, where he served as Vice Dean at the School of Civil Engineering, Director of the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, Director of the Laboratory of Applied Hydraulics, and Director of the Master’s Programme “Water Resources Science and Technology”.
He studied at NTUA, Imperial College of Science and Technology and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Since 2012, he has been Visiting Professor at the Technical University of Munich. He has 40-years teaching, research, and technological experience, has been the project leader of 40 research projects and authored/co-authored more than 280 publications and 300 technical reports.
He has participated as consultant and/or coordinator in more than 120 projects, mainly of water infrastructure. He is member of international scientific organizations and reviewer of more than 35 journals, 40 conferences and many international research programs.
